Implementing the EU Project "Creation of Route Planning Systems"

Project Implementation by UAB "Lexita"

From March 1, 2019, to April 14, 2021, UAB "Lexita," in collaboration with project partner UAB "Pantera Software," is implementing the project "Creation of Route Planning Systems" (No. J05-LVPA-K-04-0101), funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The project funding amount is €285,059.14.

Project Goals

The main goal of the project is to create systems that will automatically generate the most optimal and cost-effective routes (covering several or dozens of points) while considering relevant data in the system, such as:

  • Personnel resources
  • Transport resources
  • Order information (ordered goods, services, special customer requests, etc.)
  • Others

Innovative Route Planning Systems

During the project, three innovative route planning systems will be created:

  1. For Traders
  2. For Service Providers "BASIC"
  3. For Service Providers "PRO"

Route Planning System for Traders

This system is designed for medium and large companies involved in the goods transportation business. It will be suitable for companies with several or dozens of different warehouses throughout Lithuania (and beyond), managing both owned and rented transport.

Route Planning System for Service Providers "BASIC"

This system is intended for companies providing various types of services that require traveling to the customer or the incident site.

Targeted activity specifics:

  • Many service points are geographically distributed throughout Lithuania
  • It does not matter which employee goes to which point (the services provided do not require specific employee qualifications)

Route Planning System for Service Providers "PRO"

This system is designed for large companies providing various types of services that require traveling to the customer or the incident site.

Targeted activity specifics:

  • Many service points are geographically distributed throughout Lithuania
  • Wide range of services provided
  • Different services require employees with different qualifications
  • When ordering services, customers can specify the desired service date, time, and frequency
  • Some employees work part-time, only at certain hours or days
