We proudly present the "Botanikos sodai" mobile audio guide app, developed for visitors of the botanical gardens at Vilnius University, Vytautas Magnus University, and Klaipėda University. This app acts as a personal electronic guide for tourists, offering the most convenient routes, directions to the next point of interest, and introducing essential information and fascinating facts about the botanical garden's features.
Key Features of the "Botanikos sodai" App:
Offline Functionality: Download the app to your smart device and use it even without an internet connection. All app functions operate in offline mode!
Interactive Maps and Routes: The app includes interactive maps of the botanical gardens, highlighting points of interest with descriptions and audio recordings in Lithuanian, English, and Russian. The app offers routes that guide visitors from one point of interest to another using navigation principles, while displaying the visitor's current location. The navigation functionality is implemented using GPS and iBeacon sensors, so as visitors approach a specific object, its profile will automatically open in the app, allowing users to listen to or read information about it.
Augmented Reality Camera: The app features an augmented reality camera that, when used to film the surroundings, displays the five nearest objects on the horizon on the screen.

Contribution to the LUBSA Project
The creation of the "Botanikos sodai" app supports the project "Increasing Awareness of Lithuanian Botanical Gardens through E-Marketing Measures," conducted by the LUBSA association. This project aims to increase the visibility and visitor numbers of botanical gardens belonging to the Lithuanian University Botanical Gardens Association, located in priority tourism development regions.
