112 Mobile Application

The "112" mobile application is designed to facilitate communication for individuals with hearing impairments with the Emergency Response Center (ERC) to report sudden threats to life, health, safety, the environment, or property and request emergency services.

Features of the Mobile Application

The app enables two-way real-time video and text communication with ERC operators. It also uses global satellite navigation systems and other phone sensors to accurately determine the location of the person requesting assistance.

• Development of the "112 Lietuva" mobile application
• Creation of a computerized workstation for ERC operators
• Development of an integrated management platform
• Establishment of a high-reliability Linux cluster

ERC Operator's Workstation

The ERC operator's workstation consists of three screens:

1. Incoming Calls: This section is used to view and manage the flow of incoming emergency requests, conduct text and/or video chats, view caller information, call history, etc.
2. Map: This section presents an interactive map to the ERC operator showing the caller's:
   • Current location
   • Registered residence
   • Incident location
3. Incident Information: This section allows the ERC operator to fill out the incident report card, view related incidents, etc.
