CognitiveStats (Vilnius University)
„CognitiveStats“ is a tool created by researchers at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Vilnius University (VU MIF), situated at the intersection of cognitive psychology and information technology. The platform enables efficient data collection regarding human thinking, attention, and memory.
Cognitive Testing Module The system features a set of interactive tasks designed to measure reaction time, decision-making accuracy, and other psychometric indicators. The tasks are programmed to ensure high-precision timing, which is critical for scientific research.
Data Analysis and Visualization An environment was created where collected testing results are automatically processed and presented in a researcher-friendly format. Integrated statistical algorithms allow for comparing results between different groups, monitoring changes over time, and generating visual reports that simplify the interpretation of complex cognitive data.
Flexibility and Adaptability The platform features a modular architecture, allowing researchers to create new testing scenarios without deep programming knowledge. The solution is fully optimized for use across various devices, ensuring consistent testing conditions both in the laboratory and remotely.
