Biometric Signature System – State Forest Enterprise (VMU)
A biometric signature system has been developed and implemented for the State Forest Enterprise (VMU) to modernize and optimize personnel management. The system operates in accordance with the ISO/IEC 19794-7 standard, ensuring high quality and reliability of biometric signing.
The biometric signature system is integrated with forms provided to personnel—ensuring data security and consents for various personnel management documents, such as: "Consent for Personal Data Processing," "Confidentiality Agreement," "Commitment to Protect Data Privacy," etc. This developed system allows for distinguishing whether the signature was made with a finger or a digital stylus by recording pressure and other parameters.
A biometrically signed signature is automatically transferred onto the completed form within a digitized environment, thus avoiding the process of printing and scanning the document after signing. System data helps verify that the signature was placed by the same person, as the system records data such as pressure intensity during signing and other biometric data.
Project Objective – to ensure high-level data security with user-friendly technology for signing applications, forms, and other documents within the State Forest Enterprise’s personnel management. The implementation of the new biometric signature system aims not only to modernize the signing process but also to improve overall institutional efficiency by reducing administrative hurdles.
